These are awesome! I think praise is one of the greatest things in the classroom, especially with younger students. They love approval, especially from their teachers and parents and other adults.
I think most of these are good praises any student would want to hear. However, some would only apply to a certain age group and teachers should be careful not to disrespect students even if by accident. For example "That's a good boy/girl" should stay with the younger kids because this could belittle a teenager in high school.-Donavan Fincher
These are great, Im taking a course right now, and we just finished going over different ways to praise a child for the great things they accomplish in and out of the classroom. I think the greatest thing you can do for a student is make him or her feel good and accomplished..great blog!!!
I think these are good ways to praise a child. Praising a child I believe is a good thing because it makes that child feel like they are doing well in the class, and it will probably encourage or motivate them to do more work.
